Fortitude: Above all things, our employees demonstrate courage in the face of adversity. Community Rising Therapy was founded on the premise that meaningful change is only brought about when advocates unapologetically pursue what is in the best interest of our clients and our community. We will never sit silently by and allow the rights of individuals with disabilities to be intentionally or unintentionally overlooked or violated. We will always, under any circumstance and despite any cost, serve as the catalyst for positive change. 

Advocacy: Community Rising Therapy strives to be a beacon of hope for families who lack necessary support and resources. We take our responsibility as community leaders seriously and challenge our employees not just to provide high-quality treatment for their clients, but to advocate for all individuals and affect change within our communities through education, communication and public outreach. 

Growth and Development: We want our employees to develop themselves not just as professionals, but as people, as leaders, as parents, as spouses, as members of the community. We expect employees to set personal and professional goals that they find meaningful to their own personal evolution. Our employees never stop growing by constantly asking themselves, “How can I be better?” 

Compassion: Our work is not only a matter of clinical judgement and knowledge, but a matter of the heart. We want our employees to greet our clients’ families at the door with unconditional positive regard and a never-ending supply of understanding and compassion. Judgement has no place here.

At the first sign of an obstacle, we generate solutions and create answers to problems rather than employing a victim mentality. Our employees recognize the importance of their jobs and take complete ownership of their mistakes, make a plan, and move on. There are people counting on us. 

Transparency: Community Rising Therapy was founded on the premise that raw, unscripted, communication is the key to cultivating trust and respect. To that end, our employees and administrators function on a “no door” policy. Our doors aren’t just open, we took them off the hinges. We believe that no problem can’t be solved when we address it openly and without fear of repercussions. Our staff, at all levels, are expected to communicate openly and freely at the first sign on an issue to avoid letting it become a barrier to progress.
